Children’s Ministry

“Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven.” Matthew 19:14 My mother took me to Church when I was quite small.  Because I am a blessed child of God, He provided me with Sunday School Teachers who instilled the Love of Jesus in the hearts of their students including myself.  The curriculum was Bible-based and I learned stories of the Old Testament as well as the New Testament.  We sang worship songs, memorized Bible verses and made fun crafts that emphasized each lesson.  It’s because of this foundation that was poured into my life that I am not only blessed to be a Sunday School teacher but to now be the Children’s Ministry Leader. My goal for the children at University Family Fellowship is to carry on the legacy of my Sunday School Teachers.  I pray all the children know they are “Precious in His Sight.”  Jesus loves the little (and the big) children of the world. The scriptures we stand on in our Children’s Ministry are: Proverbs 1:7  “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.” Proverbs 22:6 “Train a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not turn from it.” We look forward to sharing the Word of Our Father with your children.
